Return Policy

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We are happy to offer our customers a simple, no hassle return policy. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your in-stock item, you may return it to us for a full refund of the purchase price less the actual shipping cost and a 15% restocking fee. This restocking fee helps us to offset the cost when our vendors or manufacturers charge us to return goods. Any free shipping applied to your original order may be deducted from your return credit. For example, if we offered free shipping on your order, we will issue you a credit for the purchase price of the returned merchandise, but will deduct our actual shipping costs for returned items.

Items must be completely unassembled and unused, in their original condition and packaging, complete with all materials and resalable as new. Customers are responsible for returning the item to its warehouse of origin using the same shipping method used for outbound shipment. Refunds are for the purchase price only and will be issued once we have received the item and it has been determined to be in new condition. Before sending back an item, please contact us through our customer service form or call us at 888.416.0271. Once we receive your return request we will contact you within 24 hours with information regarding your return. All return requests must be made within 24 hours of delivery. All returns must be sent insured for the purchase price. If an item is returned with shipping damage, it is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim for the damaged merchandise. Sale items or discounted items will not be eligible return or exchange. We do not accept returns on orders outside the continental United States. Should you decide to cancel a return and keep the item after a refund was issued, we reserve the right to charge your credit card in the amount of the refund issued. Phone sales do not qualify for any internet advertised promotional discounts. Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through an entryway will be refunded in merchandise or store credit only and a 15% restock fee deducted from the credit amount.

CUSTOM ORDERS.

Custom orders are placed into production wihtin 24 hours of order and are built to your specifications. Therefore, they cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded at any time after a 24 hout period and require 100% payment in advance. If you are unhappy with your custom made item, please email support@maxwellblake.com and provide details with pictures of any defects or damage. Any issues arising on a custom item will be either repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of Maxwell Blake but cannot be cancelled for any reason. If you wish to cancel a custom order, Maxwell Blake may do so on a case-by-case basis and at its sole discretion however, a 50% cancellation fee will apply

CUSTOMERS OWN MATERIALS.

Customer may supply their own material of choice however, the material must be upholstery-grade and a swatch must be sent to our staff for evaluation and approval. Maxwell Blake accepts no liability for the appearance of the upholstery after it is finished in the customer’s material. In addition, the use of Customer’s Material will void the warranty on upholstery for the item. The customer is responsible for the costs of shipping the material whether it is to our domestic or overseas manufacturing facility. In the event the material is lost or damaged during shipping, it is the responsibility of the customer to file claim for the loss. Maxwell Blake accepts no liability for the customers material. If an item arrives damage and customer wishes a replacement, the customer is responsible for supplying the required material for the replacement.

MARBLE AND STONE

Stone is a natural material and variances in color, veining, edging and surface polish are considered normal and are not considered defects. All marble and stone items whether in stock or custom cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded unless damaged or seriously defective. It is at the sole discretion of Maxwell Blake to determine whether a marble or stone is indeed defective. If in the event we deem a marble defective, it is at our sole discretion whether to repair, replace or issue a refund for the purchase. Under no circumstances on custom orders will the client be able to cancel an order once it is placed unless it has not been placed into production and Maxwell Blake agrees to the cancellation.

PRICING

All prices are in US dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change at any time and without notice.

DELIVERY

Please inspect your item carefully upon delivery. Once an item has been accepted by the customer or person acting as agent for the customer by signing on the carriers documentation, a damage claim cannot be accepted. All damages must be noted on the carriers Bill of Lading at time of delivery or, if the damage is irrepairable the item must be refused. Please contact us immediately if you see any indication there may be damage. Inspect your item closely and sign only was the condition is satisfactory.
